What is a wax melt?
Wax melts are becoming more and more popular, and people are now favouriting these over candles to scent their home, lets take a look at what a wax melt is and how to use them correctly.
A wax melt is a scented piece of wax, like what you would find in a candle but without a wick. Our wax melts are made from 100% natural soy wax. Our wax products are safe to use around your family and pets. Simply snap a piece or two from your product, and melt using either a tealight heated burner, or an electric burner
How to use a wax melt
If using a tealight heated burner, such as glass or ceramic, please only use tealights that burn for no longer than 4 hrs. Simply pop a piece or two into the top of the burner, and light the tealight, and let the scent swirl around your room. Please never leave a wax burner unattended, or alone with children.
If using an electric burner, simply pop a piece or two into the top of the burner, and switch on the burner to allow it to heat up and melt the wax, releasing the scent into the room. Electric burners are becoming more popular, as they are flame free, and wax melt users with young children, view these as a safer option.
Why choose wax melts?
Lets take a look at why more and more people are using wax melts to candles. Unlike a candle, the wax will not disappear in time, with wax melts it simply over time reduces in scent. If you prefer a strong scent to your room, we would advise to use 2 squares, if you are after a more subtle scent then 1 square will be more than enough.
